What we do
Screwed Down installs screw pile foundations. Galvanised steel screws are driven into the ground by machine and the structure bolts to the top. Nothing is dug out and no concrete is poured.
We put them under:
- Garden rooms and offices
- Decking and pergolas
- Sheds, cabins and workshops
- Site cabins and welfare units
- Fences, gates and signs
Most jobs take a day. The screws can be built on straight away.
How we do it

- We come back with a price. A comparison against a concrete base is available if you want one.
- We agree a date.
- We install the screws by machine. One visit, normally a day or less.
- Every screw is pull tested before we leave. You get the results and a written 10-year guarantee.
- The base can be built on the same day.
